Some Moments

On a winter morning, frost-coatedbranches appear almost like clouds. Over the forest, the sun rises. A littlefurther on, a sapling grows in a pen - protected by some wire mesh. Shoots growfrom a felled tree. At night, the moon lights up a wet road like a river. Abovean old holiday picture, a clock ticks.

My work is predominantly concerned withour place in the world, and its constant change; the passage of time, thefleeting beauty of things, and the relationships between themselves, andus. Working with scrapbook-like photo books and constellations of images, and making use of scale and negative space, I create loose narrative-likeprogressions of images around these themes.
